  • Combined emphasis with asterisks and underscores
  • Strikethrough uses two tildes. Scratch this.

Why doesn't Champ use a WYSIWYG editor for posts?

WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editors can potentially lets users insert dangerous HTML code into the posts. As a result, Champ doesn't let this happen by using Markdown to filter out any malicious messages.
