Display port breakout?

  • Looking through the specs on the Atomic Pi there seems to be a limit to the resolution of the HDMI output (1920x1080 60hz) however the papers seem to indicate that the GPU is capable of up to 4K at 60hz with a DisplayPort output. I’ve seen no documentation supports that the DisplayPort option is available on the finished device. My question is does the board have traces that support the addition of a DisplayPort header?

I would like to set up a Atomic Pi as a slicing and print station for a couple 3D printers and I have a 4K screen with HDMI and DisplayPort options for input that I use for my modeling work.

  • I did hook mine to my 4k tv.. Ubuntu 18.10.. had to turn down resolution to see icons from the couch LOL.. so it definitely will drive a 4k output from hdmi..
